Iran conspired to attack Saudi Arabia to teach America a lesson: report

Iran conspired to attack Saudi Arabia to teach America a lesson report

Two Saudi Arabian oil plants were attacked in September by drones and missiles. Due to this, Saudi oil production was badly affected for about a week. The attack was claimed by the Yemeni Houthi rebels, but Saudi had told Iran's hand behind it. Now a report has revealed that the plot to attack Saudi was prepared in Iran itself. 4 months before the attack on Aramco, Iranian military officials called a high-level meeting to plot the attack.

Revealed quoting 4 people involved in the meeting

News agency Reuters has revealed this by quoting 4 people involved in the meeting. According to the report, Iranian officials wanted to teach the US a lesson to pull out of the nuclear treaty and enforce sanctions on Tehran. This issue was discussed among the officials at the meeting.

An official attending the meeting, on condition of anonymity, said that a senior commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard even said that it is time for us to take out our swords and teach America a lesson. Many officials also talked about destroying important US bases in the meeting.

However, at the end of the meeting, it was agreed among the officers that instead of engaging in direct attacks with the US, one of its allies should be taught a lesson. It is here that the authorities agreed to target the oil plants of the US ally Saudi Arabia.

This is the first time any disclosure has been made by the Iranian authorities on the September 14 attack. It is reported that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stamped the operation against Saudi. However, he advised against avoiding targeting any civilian and American.

Iran's spokesman denied the conspiracy

Iran's spokesman at the United Nations, Alireza Mirousfi, has denied the Reuters revelations. He said that Iran had no hand in the attack on Saudi nor any meeting of military officials for the operation. He said that there is no question of allowing the operation from the Supreme Leader.
