USA Defense Minister said- China should not be surprised if we deploy new missiles soon in Asia

The US said that it wants to immediately deploy new intermediate-range missiles in view of China's growing influence in Asia. On Friday, the US came out formally from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty. Defense Minister Mark Espar said Saturday on missiles that China should not be surprised by our missiles. However, he did not say where the deployment of missiles would be. Espar is on the Asia tour.

He said in Sydney, "We want to deploy our missiles as soon as possible." I would like to give priority to this work this month. China should not be surprised by our plan. Because we have been talking about this for some time. In the deployment of missiles, 80 percent of the INF range system belongs.

Treaty between the US and USSR occurred in 1987

The US came out formally on Friday by the INF Treaty. However, it announced its withdrawal from the treaty in February, stating that Russia had been violating its rules for a long time. The treaty was signed in 1987 by US President Ronald Reagan and the Soviet Union leader Mikhail Gorbachov. It limits the use of conventional and nuclear missiles from both countries. After coming out of the treaty, the US has now become independent to deploy missiles in the region.
