10 million species on verge of extinction due to Human interference: UN report

According to a report of the United Nations, due to the human intervention, about one million species are on the verge of extinction. This report mentions how human beings have undermined the natural resources on which their existence depends.

The report says that the rapid declination in clean air, drinking water, carbon dioxide adsorption, pollen spraying insects, protein-rich fish, and storm-stopping mangrove are not less dangerous than climate change. This report is to be released on May 6. According to this report, there is definitely a close link between global biodiversity deficiency and global warming.

Representatives of 130 countries in Paris will assess this report on more than 1,800 pages on April 29. "We need to understand that the climate change and loss of nature are equally important, not only for the environment but also for development and economic issues," said Robert Watson, president of the United Nations Organization for Compiling the Report. The report says, "Five lakh to 10 million species are on the brink of extinction, many of which can be extinct in decades." Many experts believe that the so-called "extensive extinction" has already started. Scientists estimate that today there is a house of about 8 million different species in the world, most of which are insects.
